BARS is a ARRL Special Service Club.

BARS is applying for a non-profit 501C3 Corporation

All activities are enhanced by belonging to a group of knowledgeable Hams.

We have club meetings at Parrish Medical Center on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm in conference room CR6.   MAP
 
We have a lot of operating activites and social events. You can improve your operating skills by particiating in our Special Events, such as Field Day, Walk - A - Thones and Parades.
This service offers all of us the opportunity to prepare for emergency service while helping our community in the process. It is also an excellent way for us to show people what ham radio is all about and what fun we have with it.
We have a club shack with HF radio and a computer loaded with HRD that can operated digital modes such as PSK 31 AND RTTY.

We have a UHF repeater on frequency 442.425 + tone of 107.2 schedule to be on line December 2016.
We are a great group of members that make great conversation.

We have tecnical expertise offer by Glenn N3EH and in all aspects he has electronics, computers, emergency communications and all other advanced technologies.
If you are a ARES member or become a ARES member, you can be on our team and support our local community.
